First Appointment for Bottom Surgery!

I had my first appointment last week for bottom surgery, basically to set things in motion for the several year process, it will be costly for the travel, the actual surgery is free in Canada, but not the travel, or time off work. I want to be be prepared to afford 2 months off and if im better at 4-6 weeks then all the better I'll have money left over! I'll have to stop smoking weed and drinking alcohol for a while leading up to the surgery and after to help the healing. I already drink and smoke less now so I will ask about eating edibles because they say smoking, I imagine edibles might be ok which might also help the healing and help cope a little better to sleep.
